- ATM machines work normally, like any european place. One good thing in Cyprus is that you can pay (almost) at any shop with visa card, from kiosks (peripteros) to supermarkets. Is recommended to do it, so you don´t have to take money out from machines since they will probably charge you some commission (anyway, as you know, always better check the conditions with your bank provider). Just bring with you the money you think necessary.
- Electric plugs are like this:
Anyway, there is a relative easy way to switch on normal plugs in this sockets (laptop, phone charger,... but not the big ones, you'll need and special adapter then) with a simple adapter or just a pen.
- Tap water is drinkable. We at our house just have a filter, but directly from the tap is fine too (we have been told in restaurants that you can´t drink water from the tap in Nicosia, so you have to buy from them the bottle of water...
